Katie & Joe met at her brother’s wedding and fell fast in love. It is wonderful that they both found each other, as family tradition is close to the heart of this couple. The veil Katie choose was the same one her mother was married in, their cake topper sat atop her grandmother’s wedding cake 61 years ago and to cut the cake and they used Joe’s grandfather’s U.S. Navy dress sword used to cut the cake in his family for generations. I couldn’t think of a better way to move forward into a marriage than to have the foundation of all those loved ones before you! Congratulations Katie & Joe!!
