Meredith and Harry met in the ballroom at Bay Head Yacht Club and quickly fell in love! After a four year romance they decided to tie the knot in the very place they first set eyes on each other. They could not have asked for a more beautiful day with clear blue skies and a lovely breeze off the bay.
Meredith looked absolutely exquisite in her Pronovias gown from L’Fay Bridal in Chatham, NJ. It was the palest of shade of blush with a delicate flower overlay. What I loved most was that instead of a veil in her hair she attached it to the back of the gown, which allowed her amazing caramel locks to cascade in natural beach waves down her back. Amy of Beauty on Location was both the hair and make-up artist and selected a very natural palette to enhance the bride’s beautiful features.
A quick stroll over the bridge lead guests to All Saints Episcopal Church where the couple exchanged vows and stepped out of the beautiful green doors Mr. and Mrs. The bridesmaids delicate chiffon dresses by Dessy caught the breeze and the pale blue color was perfect for a waterside event. Harry looked dashing in a dark blue Hugo Boss suite while the groomsmen wore matching navy suites from The Black Tux all with ties of a wonderful periwinkle blue.
Back at the club Rachael Citron of Glass Slipper Events put the finishing touches on the reception details, with beautiful arrangements by Flowers by Melinda of Point Pleasant and lighting by Fabrico Productions. Craig Scott Orchestra entertained this dancing crowd all night! Muller’s Bakery made a delightful donut “cake” that looked delicious. The couple slipped off for a quiet moment alone to see the beauty of the setting sun behind the water to round out a perfect day!
