For Erin and Vito it truly was love at first sight! They first caught a glance of each other at a CBA swim meet where Erin was cheering on her younger brother and Vito was his coach. Vito's breath was taken away by the gorgeous blonde and she couldn't stop thinking of the handsome coach! A whirlwind summer romance found this couple madly in love and two years later Vito found the most romantic way to pop the question! With their fun summers at the shore as inspiration Vito scoured every antique store for the perfect vintage bottle, a true romantic he wrote a sweet note with the big question and lovingly antiqued it to match the bottle. With friends and family he set out to make the dream proposal. On the bridge in Spring Lake, NJ he placed the bottle for Erin to find as they took a romantic stroll before dinner. As the sun started to set she found the bottle and started to read the note, Vito got on one knee and proposed! For the big day they kept the shore vibe and decided they would be tying the knot with a nautical theme's at Rumson Country Club's Riverhouse. We couldn't think of a better way!Read More
Lindsey and Drew were college sweethearts at Holy Cross College in Worcester, Massachusetts. After seven amazing years Drew proposed on Lindsey's 26th birthday in NYC with a photo album of treasured collage memories. Both students of History they were drawn to the old manor feel and expansive property of Fiddler's Elbow Country Club for their big day as it reminded them of the vine covered academic buildings and grounds of their dear alma matre.
The romantic, timeless gowns of Monique Lhuillier captured Lindsey's heart and both her and her bridesmaids wore them. We adored the graceful style of her sweetheart gown and off the shoulder lace bodice which she could remove for dancing ease later in the evening. Bow accented Kate Spade shoes added romance and style. An event planner herself Lindsey choose a lavender and spring green color palette as an homage to Holy Cross's collegiate color purple.
For the ceremony they chose Lindsey's home parish of Saint James Church in Basking Ridge NJ. Afterwards the newly wed couple was greeted with a fanfare of lavender ribbons and congratulations. The couple then was whisked away to Fiddler's Elbow Country Club for a stroll on the grounds and signature cocktails. They danced the night away to music from The Groove Shop. Capturing the sweetness of this couple and the depth of their love are what I cherish about my work!

I am just so trilled for Kristy & Jeff's upcoming wedding!! With their ceremony at one of my favorite churches Christ The King in New Vernon and a reception at the newly renovated Maplewood Country Club I know it will be just stunning. For their engagement shots Kristy & Jeff chose one of their favorite dating spots Ocean City NJ. Looking back on these I can still feel the warm sun and beach breeze.
Chase & Neil meet freshman year at Villanova where they became fast friends and later a couple. After eight amazing years Neil proposed on their balcony in Philadelphia. For the big day the couple chose Calvary Episcopal Church in Summit and Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield. Chase looked radiant in a lace Martina Liana gown from Bijou Bridal and shoes by Jimmy Choo. The girls wore coral pink dresses from J.Crew Bridal with vibrant bouquets from Bloomers Florists. Neil looked dashing in a blue suit by Tommy Hilfiger. Stationary was provided by Reaves Engraving, Inc. Baltusrol Golf Club provided a beautiful backdrop for portraits as Chase & Neil strolled along the grounds. Bloomers created bright cheery centerpieces in pink & purple hues with delicate candlelight and the Woodland Bakery of Chatham NJ accented their beautiful cake with the same color flowers. Entertainment was provided by The Kevin Osborne Band and the beautiful day was captured on video by Michael Lucio Sternbach of Moon Lasso.
Both Maggie & Eric went to same parties & social events at Boston College; they spent their summer nights at the same local college bar. Eric even saw his future bride perform on stage, however it wasn't until six years after graduation that they finally met. It was a mutual classmates wedding that brought the two together. "Under the smoky cover of a New Jersey fog machine, we took the first of many sweet dance steps together," recalls Maggie. They hit it off and shared their first kiss while waiting in line for a hand-rolled cigar. After a year of long distance dating Maggie finally made the move up to Boston to be with Eric. On a West Coast trip from San Francisco to LA the couple decided to take a hike in Big Sur. A 45 minute climb and one wrong turn later and Eric got down on one knee and proposed as the sun set over the valley. For the big day the couple decided to stay near Maggie's hometown of Rumson New Jersey. The Church of the Nativity in Fair Haven was perfect for her ceremony and a tented outdoor reception at Rumson Country Club fit the black tie wedding theme. Maggie chose a beautiful Monique Lhuillier gown from Kleinfeld Bridal with a full skirt of organza flowers paired with killer Jimmy Choo stilettos in festive silver sparkle. Make up and Hair was done by Glen Goldbaum and a birdcage veil added a timeless elegance. Eric chose a tasteful Brooks Brothers Tuxedo paired with evil ninja socks, a perfect pairing! Classic knee length black Alfred Sung dresses were picked or the girls. The couples' invites were from Pauline's Papery in Red Bank. Maggie's mom Kathleen was the official "party planner" bringing in fabulous florists & event designers Craig Kiely & Darryn Murphy Designs to create soft fall table arrangements & stunning bouquets. Their beautiful tent was brought in and set up by Sperry Tents and The All Star Dance Band from Star Talent Inc had this crowd packed on the dance floor till the early morning hour. Mr. Jeary, father of the bride, may just win our best dancer of the year award!
It's not very often that we have a couple that were each others date for the 8th grade formal but Kate & Brennan were just that. Their great love and natural ease around each other was something so special. The sun shone brightly and the air was crisp on one of the most beautiful December days in memory. Kate held back tears as she opened her gifts from Brennan on her wedding morning. A beautiful gold honeymoon band with their wedding date engraved and second diamond band. She smiled as she joking recalled the band "Now I have a stone for each year we've been dating!" Her sisters helped her into her lace Lazaro gown with custom crystal inlaid belt. She slipped on her bright red Valentino stilettos, just the thing for a December wedding. Classic red roses from Flowers From Hannah and gold edged invites by William Arthur from The Papery in Summit fell right in line with the season. All three girls gathered around their father as he brought out their mother's jewelry. She loved to go to estate sales and collect special pieces. Each girl lovingly helped pick out bracelets for one another. Kate descended the stairs to the christmas tree to meet her attendants. Each girl chose her own black gown to match her personality and held a beautiful 1920's style silver holder with a nosegay of white roses. The excellent day of event coordinator Jan Stephens of Something Social calmly ushered the wedding party to Christ the King Church of New Vernon. The beautiful church with it's classic black & white checkered floor and blue walls is one of the prettiest to photograph. Even the swans were out on the lake in front. The sermon was a touching statement on love & hospitality. It doesn't take much to see that Kate & Brennan have those wonderful qualities in abundance. The reception moved to the beloved Baltusrol Golf & Country Club where a traditional bagpiper greeted guests. The Cunningham Brothers Band kept the crowd on their toes all through the night with their mix of high energy dance music and touches of traditional Irish tunes.
Bathed in soft golden light Christy & Brett made their first steps as a newly married couple. Christy was radiant in her Priscilla of Boston gown with soft chiffon flower applique. Simple drop pearl earrings and bracelet from her mother were paired with a petal accented veil creating a soft classic look with a twist. "Dorothy meets Cinderella" shoes by Kate Spade made Christy's eyes sparkle bright. Darryn Murphy Designs created soft romantic bouquets of blush and cream roses. The ceremony was at Holy Cross of Rumson, with its beautiful red doors and vibrant community. The sheaths of wheat and simple elegant programs by Pauline's Paperie captured the autumn feel. For the ceremony they chose the beautiful Navesink Country Club were we were able to catch the last rays of warming sun before heading indoors for a great reception with music by The Kevin Osbourne Band.
